Emma Clair Roberts (born in Sydney, Australia in 1994) is a vocalist who currently resides in Sydney and attends the Australian Institute of Music in Surry Hills. She also plays the guitar, bass, piano, drums and ukulele. Her main vocal influences include Daniel Johns, Eddie Vedder, Tina Turner, Tim Freedman, Chris Cornell and Janet Jackson.
Emma attended Sacred Heart Primary School and Loreto Kirribilli, and previously worked as a fast food worker and a bakery sales assistant. Before pursuing a career in music, she spent a year at the University of Sydney majoring in human biology and Italian studies. Emma’s first single, “Used To Be Cool”, was written in September 2010 and released independently in April 2011.
Emma is currently writing songs for a debut album to be released in 2015.
